The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) is a regional financial institution that focuses on development in Central America. CABEI promotes economic integration and a balanced economy and social development in Central America.
CABEI aims to create employment and improve the wellbeing and quality of life for the citizens of Central America.
LACIF and CABEI have worked together across Latin America and the Caribbean since 2010, developing projects in the following sectors:
- energy;
- transport;
- agriculture, forestry, fishing; and
- industry.
