European Development Days 2022

Europe’s leading forum on international partnerships since 2006

The European Development Days (EDD) are Europe’s leading forum on international partnerships. Organised by the European Commission, the forum brings key actors together to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

For its 15th edition, the theme is on the new European Strategy “Global Gateway: building sustainable partnerships for a connected world”.

EDD 2022 Programme

This programme consists of 90+ sessions, co-created with the EDD community.

EDD 2022 will have thematic sessions as well as a series of Special Events focusing on key aspects of the Global Gateway. Geopolitical, financial and geographical aspects of this year’s theme will be explored. EDD expert panels will discuss the Global Gateway flagships’ impact in Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, the Indo-Pacific and the EU Neighbourhood.

In addition, there will also be additional events on key topics such as resilient health systems, and food security.
